Warm air at the vents, ice on the lines, or a breaker that keeps tripping isn't a wait-it-out problem when Lawson, MO temperatures climb. Pressure, amp draw, and coil condition all get checked before any part gets quoted.
A refrigerant top-off with no leak search is a classic way homeowners in Lawson end up paying twice. Our process is pressure readings, spec comparison, and electronic leak detection, because a properly repaired leak outlasts three top-offs.
What every AC visit includes.
Every tech handling refrigerant carries current federal certification — a legal requirement we take seriously.
No-cool situations jump the schedule, most Lawson requests seen same-day in peak season, even during the busiest stretch of summer.
Capacitor or compressor, the price you approve is the price on the invoice before work starts.
Real detection equipment finds the source, not just a temporary patch.
The repairs behind most no-cool calls.
The leak gets found and repaired at the source, then the system is recharged and pressure-verified — not just refilled and sent on its way.
Hard-starting or high-amp compressors get tested before we recommend replacement.
We find why the coil froze, not just defrost it and hope.
A failing capacitor is a common cause of a dead condenser, and it's usually a same-visit fix once confirmed.
A coil caked in debris can't reject heat properly, which spikes head pressure and stresses the compressor, so we clean and inspect during the visit.
A blown fuse or tripped disconnect can present exactly like a dead compressor, so we rule these out first to avoid an unnecessary replacement.
What to expect once you call.
Describe the symptom — warm air, ice, tripping breaker — and we route the nearest tech and we'll get a tech moving.
Truck arrives stocked with refrigerant, gauges, and common parts within your window.
We measure before we touch, then quote a flat rate.
Same-visit completion is typical, backed in writing.

What people ask before we dispatch.
The common causes are leak, compressor, or coil and we test each before quoting.
A top-off without finding the source is a stopgap at best, and we'll say so before you pay for one.
No-cool calls get priority routing, typically seen within a few hours, usually resolved within a few hours of your call.
It won't hurt anyone, but continued operation risks the compressor, so it's worth addressing quickly.
We primarily handle central AC, and can advise on window units.
The diagnostic fee buys real testing time, and it's subtracted from your bill once you approve the fix.
